Kichechef: a family story since 1976
Founded in 1976 in Walferdange in a showroom measuring just 80 m², Kichechef (formerly Decorama) began its journey specializing in custom kitchen design in Luxembourg. From the outset, our goal was clear: to offer functional, aesthetically pleasing interiors tailored to every home.
Constant development

1984: Opening in Bereldange with a 1,200 m² showroom, expanding the offer to designer furniture and interior decoration in Luxembourg.

1994: Collaboration with RTL Lëtzebuerg and launch of De Kichechef, the iconic cooking show in Luxembourg.

2000: Relocation to Capellen to support our growth.

2003: Creation of TopGranit, a sister company dedicated to producing custom granite countertops.

2010: Expansion of the showroom to 38,000 m², becoming one of the largest furniture and decoration spaces in Luxembourg.

2019: Transition to the second generation of the Hilgert family with a new promise: “Home Sweet Home”.

2025: Launch of our online furniture and decoration store, extending the Kichechef experience into your home.
