General Terms of Sale
1. Scope of application
The e-shop entitled “Kichechef e-shop” is operated by the limited liability company KICHECHEF EXPLOITATION S. à r. l., whose registered office is located at L-8308 CAPELLEN, 69, Parc d’activités Mamer-CAP (hereinafter the “seller”). These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all orders placed on the website www.kichechef.lu.
Any order implies full acceptance of these GTC.
These GTC may be modified at any time. The applicable conditions are those in effect at the time of the order.

2. Conditions for placing an order
The customer declares that they are of legal age (18 years or older) and have the legal capacity to place an order or hold parental authorization.
The seller reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of an ongoing dispute with the customer.
3. Product characteristics
The products offered for sale are presented with their essential characteristics. The photographs have no contractual value.
4. Order
The customer adds the products to their cart using the “Add to Cart” button. They can review their order at any time, modify it, and then confirm it.
They complete the delivery information, accept the Terms and Conditions by checking the box provided, and proceed to payment via the secure interface.
An order confirmation email is sent after confirmation.
5. Availability
Orders are accepted while stocks last. In the event of temporary unavailability, the customer will be informed and may cancel their order.
6. Delivery area
The products are delivered by POST Luxembourg or an internal service
- in Luxembourg;
- in the following countries: (Greater Region of Belgium, France and Germany).
Any order placed outside of these areas will be automatically cancelled.
7. Delivery costs and times
Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout, based on the country, weight, and volume of the items.
The estimated delivery time is:
- 3 to 5 business days for Luxembourg;
- 3 to 5 business days for international deliveries, unless otherwise specified when ordering.
In addition to cases of force majeure, this period may be extended up to three months if the item is not in stock (e.g., furniture) and must be ordered from the supplier.
If the customer is absent at the time of delivery, a new delivery attempt may be arranged at the customer’s expense.
Responsibility
The customer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the delivery address. Any reshipment due to an error or unreported absence will be charged.
8. VAT and deliveries in the Greater Region and abroad
The prices displayed on the website are inclusive of all taxes (TTC), including Luxembourg VAT.
For deliveries to individuals located in other European Union countries
- Lorraine (France)
- Wallonia (Belgium)
- Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland (Germany)
The VAT applied is that in force in the destination country, in accordance with European regulations. The seller reserves the right to adjust the tax rate based on the place of delivery and the applicable tax regime.
For sales to companies with a valid intra-community VAT number, a VAT exemption may be applied in accordance with Article 138 of Directive 2006/112/EC, subject to validation of the number via the VIES system and proof of delivery.
For any order collected in store in Luxembourg, including by foreign customers, the sale is considered local and remains subject to Luxembourg VAT.
9. Payment
Payment is made by credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD) or via APPLE PAY or GOOGLE PAY.
A bank authorization refusal will result in cancellation of the order.
Ownership transfers upon full payment.
10. Guarantees and responsibilities
The seller is bound by the legal guarantee of conformity (Article L-212-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee of hidden defects (Article 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
The customer must check the condition of the package upon delivery. In the event of any abnormality, the customer must refuse delivery.
11. Right of withdrawal
The customer has a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of receipt of the product.
To exercise this right, the customer must complete the form available on our website before the deadline expires.
12. Return and refund
Return shipping is at the customer’s expense. For bulky items, Kichechef can arrange for home collection for €190 including tax.
The returned product must be in perfect condition and in its original packaging. No refunds will be issued for damaged, incomplete, or used products.
Refunds will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the returned product.
13. Personal data
The data collected is essential for order processing. It is kept for 5 years, unless the customer requests deletion.
No banking information is stored by the seller.
The customer can access, modify, or delete their data upon providing proof of identity.
14. Intellectual Property
All site contents www.kichechef.lu are protected. Any reproduction is prohibited.
15. Droit applicable et juridiction compétente
These General Terms and Conditions are subject to Luxembourg law. Any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Luxembourg courts, which the customer expressly accepts.
