Marriage of Marie Bayot, daughter and granddaughter of a quarry owner, and Armand Croonenberghs.

1937
Marie Bayot and Armand Croonenberghs establish a marble sawmill in Rhisnes.

1970-80
The gradual disappearance of the exploitation of local mines, linked to the metamorphosis of the market and its internationalisation, forced the company to broaden its horizons. The sawmill gradually gave way to the storage of already sawn slabs.

1995
Encounter and merger with the firm Marcello Bollero, a dealer in Italian marble. The company Croonenberghs becomes Cromarbo.

Today
Cromarbo has a storage area of 5,000 square metres and more than 300 different products in stock.
